The Midwest Movie Group is a collective of passionate Illinois-based filmmakers dedicated to strengthening and connecting the creative community across the region. By offering hands-on workshops, collaborative networking opportunities, and industry insights, the group creates a supportive space for both emerging and experienced filmmakers to grow their craft. Beyond education and connection, the Midwest Movie Group is committed to turning ideas into reality—providing a filmmaking fund designed to help local creators secure the financial support they need to bring their stories to life. Together, the group is building a thriving hub for Midwestern film, where creativity, collaboration, and opportunity come together.
